Bio

Outside of Maciah Long, Ian Peterson could potentially be the best prospect in this recruiting class for the Jayhawks. A consensus three star prospect, Ian can play either the corner or the safety position. In his senior campaign Peterson tallied an impressive 57 total tackles, 7 pass deflections and an interception. I wouldn't be fooled by that single INT stat, though, seeing how the offenses tried to avoid Ian Peterson as much as possible.  Peterson also returned 3 kickoffs for TDs this year.

Ian has been committed to Kansas for quite a while, and stuck with the Jayhawks through the 0-12 campaign last season.  Peterson will definitely be given the chance to #EarnIt and seems to have the athleticism to be able to work his way onto the two-deep early on in his Kansas career.
