Chris Hughes is an interesting pick up.  There is no doubt that he’ll be motivated and that could be his best asset.  After a knee injury in the summer of 2015 his stock went down, but he has still had plenty of interest from schools with higher football pedigrees than Kansas.

He’s been clocked at just about five seconds in the forty and might be a little lanky for the position, but he has an older brother at Texas who came into their program in similar physical shape.

While he is by no means a sure thing, this pickup from David Beaty could prove to be a wise one after a couple of years.
