Podcast: Recapping an incredible Kansas Basketball season.

I’m joined by Fetch and Kyle to reminisce on a Final Four season, and looking ahead to what KU Basketball will bring next year.

NCAA Basketball: Final Four-Villanova vs Kansas Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been a while since we had a podcast episode, and while some of that was intentional, some day-job stuff got in the way and what was expected to be two weeks turned into almost a month.

But today we get back into it for what I’m dubbing the “season finale”. That doesn’t mean we are going on another huge break, but we are definitely fully into offseason mode. With baseball and softball not playing very well, the only thing even remotely worth talking about is football, and there are only so many times you can whine and complain and still get people to listen.

Today’s episode talks about everything that’s happened with KU Basketball in the last month: The Final Four, wrapping up the season, the FBI news, and recruiting updates. We’ll start talking about football again next week, and we’ll have periodic updates throughout the summer, but for now just enjoy the last in depth discussion on basketball for a while.

Topics discussed:

-Most Memorable Moment from the season?

-How much did this Final Four mean to this program?

-Did the Final Four game really affect the feedback Udoka is going to get in the NBA Draft Process?

-Any surprise from Malik Newman and Lagerald Vick declaring, and how successful will they be as a pro?

-Which player that is leaving are we going to miss the most next year?

-FBI talk.

-Do you think Silvio plays next year?

-Romeo Langford isn’t coming, but what about Joe Cremo?

-Who had the better career, Frank Mason or Devonte Graham?

-Fetch’s bold prediction.

-Kyle talks David McCormack

-Andy’s “bold” prediction.
