Kansas rolled against the Wildcats yesterday, and their next opponent had a big in against Texas as well. Baylor has had mixed results in their two losses to the Jayhawks this year. Can they finally score a win against the Big 12 champions?
KU Grad 08: KU is simply on a roll right now, and hasn’t had much trouble against Baylor’s zone this season. Can Baylor play two great games in a row? I doubt it, plus Prince rarely plays well against KU. I expect a close game, but KU simply knows how to close games out. Similar to the game in Waco, I think we’ll make more plays in the final five minutes to take it. Kansas 73, Baylor 68
fizzle406: KU is looking really good lately. This one should be closer than yesterday's game but I think the Jayhawks advance to the finalKansas 76, Baylor 70
dnoll5 Zone us, Drew. Zone us. Kansas 77, Baylor 66
mikeville: Both teams looked pretty awesome yesterday. Baylor surely feels as if they let one slip away against the Jayhawks in Waco a couple of weeks ago. I have to imagine that the #Motivation factor is high for them today. But what about Kansas? They’re literally not playing for anything more than pride at this point. But they are playing well, and KU’s shooters should tear apart the Baylor zone. Kansas 85, Baylor 70
Winmore: Bill Self has only ever lost to Scott Drew three times. Two of those times, however, have come in the Big 12 Tournament 2009 quarterfinals, 2012 semifinals. The way Kansas is shooting right now, the Bears zone seems like it’s ripe to get wrecked in K.C., but beating a team three times in a row is a tough task. I have a feeling Kansas’ 12 game win streak comes to an end Friday night against the Bears. BUT… not with a monumental third matchup against Oklahoma still left to be played on Saturday. Kansas in a close one. Kansas 72, Baylor 70
misterbrain: Coming into the tournament, I had this round pegged as where the Jayhawks might have a let down game. But seeing these guys demolish K-State with pretty much everything going right for them, I'm having a hard time envisioning them losing a game again this month. Kansas 86, Baylor 73.
