The Kansas Jayhawks of America won their first game going away thanks to a strong effort from Wayne Selden and Frank Mason taking control late for the Jayhawks. Today's opponent isn't as highly regarded as Turkey was, but the Brazilians just finished demolishing Chile in their opening round, so we can at least expect to see a strong showing this morning.
After one game apiece, the three leaders of the group are Serbia, the USA and Brazil. This game could go a long way to punching a ticket to the medal rounds.
Look for Kansas to again use their strong defense to wear down the opposition, and even if we get off to a slow start, I wouldn't necessarily be too concerned.
As with all the games over in Korea, the radio team is not able to cover this game. If you are hoping to catch it this morning, you'll have to fire up the computer for ESPN3 or tune your television into ESPNU.
