After chaos both in and out of the Big 12 this week, we still managed to end up with 7 Big 12 teams in both of the major polls. This time Kansas (#9 in the AP, #10 in the Coaches) checks in at the highest spot for the conference in both polls, followed by Iowa State (#11/#13), West Virginia (#16/#15), Oklahoma (#18/#18), Texas (#20/#20), Baylor (#22/#23) and Oklahoma State (#24/#24). TCU is still managing to pull in a couple votes in the AP poll as well.
Thanks to upsets abound, there were major shakeups elsewhere in the polls too. With Louisville, Duke and Wisconsin all losing, Gonzaga jumps into the 3 spot in both of the polls this week. Kentucky, after two near losses, loses its grip on the unanimous #1 ranking. Notre Dame and Oklahoma State are the only two teams to lose and move up in (or into) the polls this week.
