Torbush retiring from coaching


Due to health reasons, Carl Torbush announced today he is retiring from the University of Kansas and college football. Torbush, who served as KU's defensive coordinator/linebackers coach, was recently diagnosed with low grade prostate cancer. He will be having surgery in the near future and expects a full recovery.

Cody Green leaving Nebraska: KU a possibility?


We can probably file this under "baseless rumor," but the article does mention KU as a possibility that's been brought up. I have no idea if Green would be a good fit for us or not, but it's at least worth thinking about, given the state of our QB situation and Gill's ties to Nebraska.

Dontonio Jordan, a WR from Texas, was scheduled today to make an announcement today between us and Stanford . . . he chose Stanford. This doesn't come as much of a surprise to most people following his recruitment, though. He recently visited Stanford and then announced that he'd make his decision shortly thereafter.
