Kansas Slays Wichita State 86-67

The Jayhawks finally get revenge for 2015

USPS Celebrates The 30th Anniversary Of Star Wars

The last time the Kansas Jayhawks faced the Wichita State Shockers, Perry Ellis was nursing a bum knee, Mitch Lightfoot was getting ready to start his freshman year at KU and Johnny Furphy was finishing up a successful year in the 1st grade. That game didn’t end the way any KU fan wanted to see. This time the Hawks took revenge. Kansas jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.

The one two punch of Hunter Dickinson and Kevin McCullar Jr combined for 42 points and 20 rebounds. The Shockers had no answer for the twosome. In a welcome sight, freshman Elmarko Jackson lit up Wichita State for a career high 12 points.

This ends non conference play for Kansas. The Jayhawks will open the Big 12 slate at home against TCU next Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse.
