Kansas Jayhawks Football Predictions: Duke Blue Devils

The crew gets together to tell you what is going to happen in today's non-conference finale.

NCAA Football: Duke at Charlotte Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas Jayhawks are in Durham, NC for their final non-conference game of the season. Can they get back on track and make this game competitive?

Take a look at what our staff thinks, them put your own prediction in the comments!

Kyle_Davis21: I was fairly optimistic last week and it backfired on me. It’s been hard to figure Duke out so far this year. The offense can put up yards and points, but the equalizer is that Duke has turned it over five times in three games. KU probably needs a couple to make this interesting. I think they’ll get one or two, but it won’t be enough. Duke 31, Kansas 20

Fizzle406: We might be out of winnable games this year. We are gonna lose this one too. Duke 44, Kansas 21

Mike.Plank: Duke’s rush offense versus our rush defense terrifies me, particularly after what we saw last week. I think we’ll be lucky if we get 10 possessions in this game, and with KU punting at a 50% rate, that doesn’t bode well for our chances. I’ll stick with Duke 38, Kansas 14.

dnoll5: Even without powerhouse hateables like Grayson Allen and various Plumlees, Duke will have enough to overcome Kansas, although this game is probably the last “close” game of the year. Duke 35, Kansas 17.

David: I don’t think this will be quite as bad as the Baylor game, but nothing this team has shown us through three games has suggested they’re in position to go on the road and beat a Power 5 team, even if it is Duke. We may stay in this for a half or so, but eventually the Blue Devils should win somewhat comfortably. Duke 41, Kansas 20

Andy Mitts: I feel like I have one of these every year, where I should be predicting a blowout loss but I keep getting a nagging getting this will super close. Duke has a turnover problem, as we saw against a not good Northwestern team last week. Kansas doesn’t really turn it over. I think the Jayhawks keep it close late in the game. And since I’m already out on a limb, I’ll double down and say a Kenny Logan interception seals the win. Kansas 24, Duke 21.
