Consistency will be key in Kansas football position battles
Kansas football offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki has a distinct way of speaking. He brings energy and will throw out snappy terms and catchphrases — usually grounded in a deeper football philosophy. Those traits shined through even on his stroll up to the press conference podium at Kansas football media day, as Kotelnicki shared a few jokes with those in the room before fielding questions for just shy of 15 minutes.

Years of struggle shaped Miles Kendrick's quest to win Kansas QB job
David Beaty’s bizarre overtime decision in a loss that all-but guaranteed his fourth season would be his last made little sense for all parties. It hurt the confidence of the quarterback he pulled on the biggest play of the game. It set his backup, Kendrick, up for failure and associated him with one of two FCS losses the Jayhawks experienced in Beaty’s four seasons.

Why starting in 2021 'doesn't really matter' to QB Jalon Daniels
“It was definitely a blessing,” Daniels said. “To start at 17 was something that I was not expecting right away. But since it was given to me, I made the best of it.”

Countdown to KU football (16): Jason Bean staying positive through QB battle
“Everything is new,” Bean told Phog.net. “New state. Just being here. I’m thankful to be here. I’m happy to be here. This is a great school. This is the level of football I wanted to play all my life. I’m finally here and I’m eager to get going.”

What the recruiting process was like for 2022 KU commit Zuby Ejiofor
Ejiofor first landed on KU's radar — as recalled by his guardian, Andy Philachack — because of a coaching connection to Doc Sadler. Now at Nebraska as "special assistant to the head coach," Sadler was Kansas' director of basketball operations in the early 2010s.
