Kansas falls to 7-seed in latest CBS Sports bracketology
Kansas men's basketball is out of the AP Top 25 for the first time in more than 200 weeks, and it's not just the polls in which the Jayhawks are on the wrong trajectory as the team now sits at 12-7 on the year. The latest CBS Sports bracketology for the upcoming NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament had Kansas down to a 7-seed on Monday.

Three takeaways: Reviewing KU basketball's win vs. Oklahoma State
The last time Kansas faced Cunningham, the true freshman dropped 18 points in a 75-70 win for the Cowboys. In hopes of avoiding a similar fate, the Jayhawks turned up the intensity when defending Cunningham Monday night.

A look at Marcus Garrett's big night against Oklahoma State
“[My role is] just trying to do whatever the team needs on offense,” said Garrett. “It’s getting guys other shots, it’s setting guys up running the offense, it’s just trying to limit the turnovers on offense. Basically, I’m just trying to get a good possession every offensive possession to try to get the best shot available.”

KU basketball entered Monday's game as an unranked squad for the first time since 2009. That didn't change the result, though, as the Jayhawks did what they have almost exclusively done at Allen Fieldhouse under Bill Self: win.

Reaction: McCormack pushes Kansas past Oklahoma State
After a sloppy first half that saw Oklahoma State commit more turnovers than the Cowboys had made baskets — and Kansas struggle to score so much it led by all of three points anyway — the Jayhawks rode a better offense in the second half to a 78-66 win. And that offense was largely steered by center David McCormack, who scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half, giving the Jayhawks a big win over a ranked team.

The plan, which was unveiled Monday night, would keep $1,400 stimulus checks flowing to Americans making up to $75,000 a year — rather than the $50,000 threshold that some moderate Democrats had proposed. It would, however, tighten eligibility for those making over $75,000 as an individual — a higher-earning group that previously qualified for smaller checks.
