It's the final conference game of the season, as the Kansas Jayhawks take in the Baylor Bears in Lawrence. A win here would keep Kansas as a top 4 seed in the NCAA tournament. Can they pull it off? Our crew gets together to tell you what to expect.

David: This is going to be unwatchable. Baylor 87, Kansas 56

Fizzle406: I will be doing literally anything besides watching this game Baylor a lot, Kansas a little

Kyle_Davis21: Wow, I was expecting some negativity after Texas, but I’m not there yet. That first game came in the middle of the Jayhawks’ three-game losing streak. And as Fetch pointed out in the preview, KU shot well from 3, but McCormack and Wilson also really struggled (a combined 10 points, 7 rebounds, and five turnovers). Another thing to consider: Braun shoots 37% from 3 at home and just 31% on the road. I still think Baylor walks out with a win, but I don’t see a blowout. Baylor 74, Kansas 67

dnoll5: Kansas isn’t winning this game. Will the “seniors” start even though they’re coming back next year? That’s the only mystery. Baylor 81, Kansas 65.

Mike.Plank: Nah, the “seniors” will all start against UTEP next week. The last game out against Texas was so frustrating, and for some reason I expect more of the same, although I’m not sure we will ever build a 14-point lead against Baylor at any point. I’d love to be surprised, but I just don’t think the Jayhawks have it in them. Baylor 80, Kansas 70.

Brendan: I will try to be as optimistic about this as I can be. The second half in Waco wasn’t awful, ideally KU will be motivated and there’s certainly a path (KU gets hot, Baylor has another cold shooting game) that leads to a Kansas win. I wish I could use Baylor’s last game as encouragement, although that was such a fluke I really can’t. Jayhawks keep it close. Baylor 81, Kansas 76

Andy Mitts: You guys are great. I really appreciate the opportunity to show my genius by being the only person to correctly pick a Kansas win. Hear me out. Baylor looked BAD against Iowa State, and was only able to get a lead late in the game. Kansas is going to be motivated in this one. Nearly every team that has gone on a long COVID pause has struggled mightily in their first few games back, and I don’t see Baylor being an exception. Give me Kansas 85, Baylor 78.
