2021 CB Landon Nelson opens up on Kansas football commitment
Nelson, a 5-11, 185-pound defensive back out of West Des Moines Valley (Iowa) previous played his high school ball out in California before transferring to the Midwest. Nelson has a grade of 76 in the Top247, which slots him as the No. 303-ranked cornerback and No. 36 Iowa player in the 2021 class. He had an offer from Valparaiso with interest from several West Coast schools — Fresno State, Cal and UCLA among them — during his high school career.
