Photo gallery: KU basketball suffers rare blowout loss to Texas
KU basketball dropped a rare blowout defeat — and an even-rarer home blowout loss — to No. 8 Texas on Saturday. The No. 3 Jayhawks fell in decisive fashion, 84-59. Kansas never led and trailed by as many as 27 points in the second half. The game was coach Shaka Smart's first win in Allen Fieldhouse.

Kansas football lands commitment from 4-star WR Quaydarius Davis
The No. 105-ranked player and No. 17-ranked receiver in 2021, Davis was recruited to the Jayhawks by wide receivers coach Emmett Jones. He has a grade of 0.9515 in the 247Sports Composite, shattering the previous Kansas best of 0.9055 — the Composite grade given to four-star running back Pooka Williams.

Analysis: 4-star Quay Davis a seismic addition to Kansas' class
The 2021 recruiting cycle has brought with it countless twists and turns for Kansas football. But no news was bigger than the commitment the Jayhawks landed as the calendar turned away from 2020 — or perhaps it was a belated Christmas surprise.

Bill Self gives return timetable for KU's Bryce Thompson (back)
"We had a practice yesterday without him," said redshirt-freshman Jalen Wilson, who scored 20 points in the KU loss. "He's definitely a key player in bringing energy to the game and just coming in and doing what he does. But we were able to prepare without him."

Kansas football DB Corione Harris enters transfer portal
Harris was arrested in January of 2020 and, according to the Kansas City Star, charged with “unlawful use of weapon and delivery of controlled substance.” He was also arrested in 2019 for driving with a suspended license, after he received a speeding ticket with a court date — and never appeared for that court date, per the Kansas City Star.

KU basketball vs. Texas: Who stood out and who didn't...
Wilson had moments where it looked like he might start to take over. But his effort was not matched by most of the players on the team. That being said, he is not blameless when it comes to the defensive end, as just about everyone had moments where they let up against the Longhorns — leading to an avalanche of 3s.

Kansas lands commitment from 'highlight reel' WR Quay Davis
The New Year started strong for Kansas on the recruiting trail with a Saturday evening commitment from Top247 receiver Quaydarius Davis who announced his pledge to Les Miles and the Jayhawks.

Kansas football DB Elijah Jones enters transfer portal
A senior defensive back has been added to the list of KU football players in the transfer portal. A source told 247Sports on Sunday that cornerback Elijah Jones would be exploring the transfer route.

Three Power Five offers in for 2022 LB Ernest Hausmann
"Previously I did not know a whole lot about their program," he said of the Cavaliers. "I have watched them play a few times in the past and I really liked how they played. But after a great call with Coach Hunter, he was able to tell my family and I more about Virginia and their program. I have not done any virtual visits with them yet but am in contact with them regularly."

Basketball Snap Judgments and Big 12 Power Rankings
The Big 12 Conference basketball season is underway (again). Teams began playing league games three weeks ago, then took a week off to play a couple gimme games, enjoy Christmas, and prep for the new year. With teams roughly a third of the way through their 2020-21 basketball season, it seems like now is as good a time as any to release our next edition of snap judgments and Actually Accomplished Rankings of the year. First, we'll give a rundown of each team, what happened since our last update, and what's up next on the schedule.
