KU basketball dropped a rare blowout defeat — and an even-rarer home blowout loss — to No. 8 Texas on Saturday. The No. 3 Jayhawks fell in decisive fashion, 84-59. Kansas never led and trailed by as many as 27 points in the second half. The game was coach Shaka Smart's first win in Allen Fieldhouse.

The No. 105-ranked player and No. 17-ranked receiver in 2021, Davis was recruited to the Jayhawks by wide receivers coach Emmett Jones.
