The Kansas Jayhawks are off their short break and straight into a huge matchup against the Baylor Bears in Waco tonight. In order to give our team any semblance of a chance, I made sure to pull the crew together. Want to know what to expect from tonight's game? Read on!

David: I haven’t had so little confidence in a KU team winning a basketball game since Auburn in the 2019 tournament. They haven’t been looking good, and Baylor has been a destroyer of worlds. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we keep this competitive. Baylor 83, Kansas 64

Mike.Plank: The doom and gloom is real, folks. KU probably could have used a confidence boost from pummeling Iowa State. Kansas (comparatively to Baylor) turns the ball over too much for me to have much hope going in. I’m thinking disaster awaits, but I’ll hope to be pleasantly surprised. Baylor 75, Kansas 58.

Fizzle406: Kansas is not winning this game. I will instead be watching Bridgerton rather than the game. Someone text me if it gets close. Baylor 80, Kansas 60

Kyle_Davis21: In the first 10 minutes of the game against Baylor on Saturday, Texas Tech passed up four or five decent looks from 3 to instead drive and either take a bad mid-range shot or turn the ball over. KU has to take note and do the opposite. Let it fly. I also think Baylor wins, but given the extra time to prepare for KU and Baylor’s quick turnaround, I don’t think it’ll be as bad as the other guys. Baylor 74, Kansas 67

dnoll5: I don’t think KU is winning this one. I rarely pick them to lose, but I just don’t see it in this one. Kansas looked bad in large chunks in the OSU game and I hope that the extra practices over the weekend helped, but I think Baylor will be too much. Gimme the Bears in a rout that looks closer than it is because Baylor will let their feet off the gas pedal late. Baylor 77, Kansas 63.

Brendan: Can KU shoot well at all in this game? That’s what it’ll take to keep it anywhere close. Far be it from me to tell Bill Self what to do, but I’d be it’s bombs away for everyone. May as well try. I think there is an avenue for KU to keep it close and an avenue for KU to even win. It’s just not all that likely. Baylor 79, KU 72

Andy Mitts: There are plenty of reasons to be super pessimistic here. But the one thing I noticed in Saturday’s Baylor-Texas Tech game was that Baylor didn’t handle Tech’s defensive pressure well at ask for the majority of the game. Despite all of the Jayhawks’ faults, they are still a REALLY good defensive team. It’s tough to expect that a weird year will deliver a weird win for the good guys, but I also know that Bill Self absolutely owns Scott Drew in games that aren’t in Waco after Kansas has already wrapped up a share of the Big 12 title. I wish I could, but I just can’t predict the win here though. Baylor 74, Kansas 68
