Kansas heads out on the road to meet up with Oklahoma State in Stillwater.
Kansas enters the contest with a ranking of #6 by the AP, while Oklahoma State comes in unranked but receiving votes. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #12 and the Cowboys at #35. The preseason conference coaches poll picked OSU to finish 7th in the Big 12 this year.
Kansas leads the overall series against Oklahoma State by a 118-59 count. The Cowboys are a very respectable 35-36 against KU in Gallagher-Iba, which until recently has had quite the hex on the Jayhawks. Kansas has won 5-straight in the series, but prior to that, OSU became the first (and still only) Big 12 team to sweep a home-and-home against Bill Self. The most recent meeting between the two programs was an 83-58 KU win in Lawrence in February of last year.
The Jayhawks are coming off a 63-59 homes win over OU, while the Cowboys come in off a 70-54 road win over K-State.
