Schools with the most NCAA Tournament victories
Making the list requires years of deep runs; the No. 11 squad had 57 wins, or nearly 10 years worth of national title romps. And remember that not all title runs are created equal. Back in the early days of the NCAA Tournament, it only took four wins to be crowned champion. John Wooden's national championships all took either four or five games, as all came before the expanded NCAA Tournament era. And had schools like VCU or Syracuse — both of whom reached the Final Four after starting their NCAA Tournament journey in a play-in game — finished the job, they would actually have had to win seven tournament games to do so.
