Bill Self: Devon Dotson the 'best (PG) we've had as a sophomore'
“I think Devon was the best point guard that we’ve had as a sophomore in college," Self told Voice of the Jayhawks Brian Hanni. "Sherron, you could make a case was as talented, but Sherron had some guys on that team that didn’t allow him to be the man like Devon was given that opportunity to do. And Devon made the most of it."
Joseph Pinion talks phone call with Bill Self, plan for visits
“The night, it wasn’t too crazy, but as soon it was morning and everyone was awake, it got pretty crazy,” Pinion told Phog.net. “A total of 20-something reached out [over the week]. That’s way more than I was expecting.”
Scouting Sunday: Breaking down 5-star point guard JD Davison
JD Davison recently came out with a list of his top 10 schools. The Kansas Jayhawks made the cut, and thus it felt like a good time to put together a full scouting report on the five-star 2021 point guard, who received his KU offer back at the end of April.
ESPN updates predicted 2021 NCAA Tournament bracket
Picking Kansas as a high seed is a safe bet; in the nine NCAA Tournaments this decade, the Jayhawks were a No. 1 or 2 seed eight times (and a No. 4 seed in the off year). Kansas returns three players with extensive starting experience in Marcus Garrett, Ochai Agbaji and David McCormack, but will be reliant on improvement from its sophomores and immediate impact from newcomers to get back to this point.

QB Cam Newton reaches 1-year deal with Patriots, sources say
Newton now will step into the mix to try to help replace former Patriots signal-caller Tom Brady, who left to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency. The Patriots did not select a quarterback in April's draft, with 2019 fourth-round pick Jarrett Stidham and 11-year veteran Brian Hoyer atop the depth chart.
New England Patriots fined $1.1 million, lose draft pick in film crew fallout
The NFL fined the New England Patriots $1.1 million and took away a third-round pick in the 2021 draft among the punishments for their television crew's filming the field and sideline during a Dec. 8 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns.
Grading Cam Newton's move to the Patriots - Little risk, huge potential and a new-look Patriots offense
In the end, Cam Newton and the New England Patriots made too much sense for each other. In a league in which every other starting quarterback opportunity was full, the Patriots gave the former NFL MVP his only realistic chance of being a Week 1 starter on a competitive team. And while I don't doubt that the Patriots still believe Jarrett Stidham is capable of being a starter at the NFL level, the chance to acquire the 2015 MVP when the alternatives were Stidham and Brian Hoyer was always going to interest coach Bill Belichick at the right price.

Covid-19 vaccine might not get us the herd immunity if too many people refuse to get it, Fauci says - CNN
Dr. Anthony Fauci says he would "settle" for a Covid-19 vaccine that's 70% to 75% effective, but that this incomplete protection, coupled with the fact that many Americans say they won't get a coronavirus vaccine, makes it "unlikely" that the US will achieve sufficient levels of immunity to quell the outbreak.
