While the NCAA Tournament isn’t happening, Kansas fans still have a chance to show their support and help the team towards a different kind of national championship.
If you haven't already signed up for SB Nation’s FanPulse, what are you waiting for? FanPulse is currently conducting rounds of surveys to determine who would have won the 2020 tournament. The first round concluded last week and the second round opened up Monday. A champion will be named, and KU fans can make sure it’s the top overall seed in the tournament.
Kansas Advances To The Final Four
The Kansas Jayhawks have demolished opponents left and right on their way through the FanPulse tournament. They started with a play-in game opponent, beating both Prairie View A&M and NC Central with 96% of the vote. In the second round, they dispatched Saint Mary’s with 87% of the vote. The Sweet Sixteen saw Kansas advance over Seton Hall with 69% of the vote. In the latest voting, they dispatched Maryland with 61% of the vote.

Chance for the Championship
If KU plans to win a championship, they will first need to beat the only other 1 seed remaining in the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
All four 1 seeds made it through to the Elite Eight, but only KU and Gonzaga were able to push their way into the final weekend of the tournament. In this tournament all that really counts is fan support. In order to continue their tournament run, KU fans will need to get their votes in before the survey tonight at 10pm Jayhawk Time.
With a win, Kansas would face either Florida State or Michigan State for the title.
If you’re not already signed up for FanPulse, you can register here and be immediately taken to NCAA Tournament voting. And Kansas fans will all need to participate to push this run across the finish line.
