Over the last decade, it’s been largely Kansas and everyone else when it comes to Big 12 Conference men’s basketball. The Jayhawks have won at least a share of nine regular-season championships in the last 10 years (and actually 15 in the last 16 years) in Bill Self’s program, which has boasted 11 Consensus All-Americans over that span.

The Jayhawks were set in the frontcourt for the 2019-20 campaign given the team had consensus second-team All-American Udoka Azubuike manning the middle. The team spent most of its remaining minutes playing with four guards, a staple of how Self's teams have looked — either out of necessity or personnel — since the 2016-17 season. And thus David McCormack, a former McDonald's All-American, averaged only 14.7 minutes per game.
