According to the Star, Long asked another member of Kansas’ athletic department whether Beaty was having an extramarital affair. The Star also reported the following about alleged remarks Long made: “Baty also testified that he heard Long make inappropriate and inflammatory sexual remarks about an elderly female donor to whom Long was prepared to make 'a generous ask' financially. Baty also testified that Long made a comment about wanting a hotel room adjacent to where a female school staffer was staying, which Baty in context understood to be a sexual remark.”

College basketball Way-Too-Early composite rankings for 2020-21
The result is this article. To form it, we took four way-too-early media rankings: ourselves (247Sports), CBS Sports, ESPN and NBC. And we added a fifth in statistics website BartTorvik's early rankings as well. All of the rankings were as of Sunday; any shifts since then weren't accounted for.

Bill Self: Leading KU basketball trio was perfectly imperfect
"What’s kind of cool about it is they all have faults," said Self on The Jayhawker Podcast with voice of the Jayhawks Brian Hanni. "You know you can look, Marcus Garrett is the best perimeter defender there is in the country. Whether or not he wins all the awards, I certainly feel that. And you take away Marcus’ right hand and don’t let him get to the basket and things like that, he can certainly be neutralized offensively, at least in some cases. But he improved so much. He became such a better offensive player, but he’s a guy that didn’t shoot it statistically great."

Album A&E – Oasis, ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’ | NME
I’d be the first to argue that Oasis dropped the ball after the millennium, but Noel Gallagher has disowned the wrong child. Oasis’s fourth is categorically not a shit album. It’s just not a masterpiece, at a time when only a masterpiece would suffice. So give ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’ another spin. It’s available from all good bargain bins…

The Least Helpful TV Characters of the Century - The Ringer
With so many Ringer colleagues commemorating television characters and performances worth remembering, I felt it was my duty to make sure we also celebrated (roasted?) some of the ones we wish we could forget. The same way sports fans will always recall the worst contracts their teams dished out—shout-out Gilbert Arenas, John Wall, and the still-lingering incompetence of Ernie Grunfeld—TV viewers can never set aside the worst of the worst. These are the top characters from this century in television that are worthy of this dubious honor.
