Kansas and Washburn meet up in a regular season matchup (instead of the usual exhibition) as we continue what is an odd 2020 season.

Kansas enters the contest with a ranking of #7 by the AP, while D2 Washburn is obviously unranked. Note that the Ichabods are receiving votes in the D2 NABC poll. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #5. The preseason conference coaches poll picked Washburn to finish 3rd in the 14-team MIAA this year.

The Jayhawks own a 38-3 series lead against the Ichabods. The most recent meeting was a 79-52 Kansas win in November of 2018 in Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks are coming off a neutral court victory over Kentucky, while Washburn comes in fresh off an 81-71 win over Central Oklahoma.
