Twas The Night Before RCTmas

Merry Christmas (and Happy Holidays) ya filthy animals:

Twas the night before RCTmas, and all through the blog

Not a creature was stirring, because of the Phog.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

And also a 2020 national championship banner up there.

And with Bill Self in his kerchief and me on this wretched app,

I had just sat down for a lengthy Twitter scrap.

When out in the lawn there arose such a clatter,

I ran away from my laptop to see what was the matter.

Out on the lawn I thought I saw an imposter,

But wait! It was just Tyon Grant-Foster.

He was flanked by multiple coaches, and no I’m not drunken,

One of them was future football coach Jeff Monken

The other of course was Bill Self,

Who was joined by a Christmas elf.

The elf was flanked by people in the back,

Braun, Wilson, Agbaji and McCormack.

Self said “I know the first game was rough,

But while we might not be good yet, we sure are tough.”

A wink of his eye and a nod of his head,

Should make us know we have nothing to dread.

Because like the title we won last year,

As long as he’s the coach, good things are near.

Then it was time to go, but if I may be so bold

Self may have also signaled the end of “fool’s gold.”

Now all he needs to do is #freeandrewwhite

Oh yeah: “Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
