Kansas and West Virginia meet up in Lawrence in a Big 12 matchup between two top-10 teams.

Kansas enters the contest with a ranking of #5 by the AP, while West Virginia comes in at #8. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #9 and the Mountaineers at #8. The preseason conference coaches poll picked WVU to finish 3rd in the Big 12 this year behind Baylor and Kansas.

Kansas leads the overall series against West Virginia by a 14-5 count. The Mountaineers are 0-8 inside Allen Fieldhouse. The most recent meeting between the two programs was a 58-49 KU win in Morgantown in February of last year.

The Jayhawks are coming off a 58-57 road win at Texas Tech, while West Virginia comes in off a 70-65 home win vs Iowa State.
