Kansas and Omaha meet up in Lawrence in a non-conference matchup that for some reason is on national television.
Kansas enters the contest with a ranking of #5 by the AP, while Omaha is unranked. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #9 and the Mavericks at #215. The preseason conference coaches poll picked Omaha to finish 4th in the 9-team Summit League this year.
These two programs have met just once before, a 109-64 Kansas victory in Allen Fieldhouse in November of 2017.
The Jayhawks are coming off a tight 73-72 home win over #8 Creighton, while Omaha comes in off a 65-63 road win at SIU-Edwardsville.
