Kansas football grades: Reviewing the Jayhawks' loss to TCU

Teams with the best odds to reach the Final Four
Kansas looks vastly different than last year’s team, which would have entered the NCAA Tournament as a sizable favorite to win it. The Jayhawks have had more success early on playing with smaller lineups, while last year’s team was led by one of the sport’s most dominant players in monster center Udoka Azubuike. The Jayhawks need to get significantly better defensively but have impressed offensively so far with 90 and 94 points over their first two games. Keep an eye on center David McCormack—if he can rebound from his rough start and supply some rebounding and rim protection, the Jayhawks will be more stylistically versatile. Kansas’ last trip to the Final Four came in 2018.

Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson -- NFL making example of us by not moving game
"I feel like maybe [the game] could have been moved, but at the same time, maybe the league was making an example of us as far as maybe not doing the things we needed to do in that particular room, that quarterback room,'' Jackson said. "Obviously, the guys didn't follow their protocols, and for [the NFL] to see that, I guess they felt like they had to make an example, so at the end of [the] day, it is what it is.
