Kansas vs. Oklahoma State: Who stood out and who didn't...
No, Channel wasn't the best player for Kansas in the game, but he filled in admirably with a third of the starting defense out. He came up for big stops around the goal line twice, and he also had a third-down sack to force an Oklahoma State punt.

Breakdown: Big plays are there, but Kansas' execution is lacking
Likewise, the 2020 season for KU also got off to a shaky start. Game 1 starter — Thomas MacVittie — was knocked out of the opener with a shoulder injury. While his numbers were underwhelming, MacVittie actually moved the ball on offense, as the Jayhawks got into field goal range on each of his three full drives. Pro Football Focus graded his outing in the 80s, while we broke down his play with a film room titled "Thomas MacVittie was better than you thought vs. Coastal Carolina."

10of12 Top 10: Texas isn't back, again
Oklahoma State seems to be alone at the top, but second place is up for grabs. After losses to Sun Belt opponents, K-State and Iowa State have taken care of business in conference play. TCU continues to impress with the growth of Max Duggan. While the Sooners and Longhorns have struggled, it's still a long season. If current trends continue, don't be surprised to see a 6-3 team in AT&T Stadium this December. But if we've learned one thing so far, it's that no game is safe during the pandemic.

Bill Self sees four Kansas players as early boot camp standouts
Bill Self had plenty of praise for Jalen Wilson and David McCormack in a video put out by KU Athletics last week. The "Grill with Bill" series, as it's been dubbed, showed the men's basketball head coach talking with two assistants while sitting out by a pool. It was then he spoke about McCormack's improvement and Wilson's return after a season-ending injury last year.

2021 DE commit Deldrick Withers: 'Always family' with KU coaches
"I've lost a couple pounds since the last year," Withers said, reflecting on his growth. "Got my feet better, my hands better. I just came with a different mindset, just ready to play, because I didn't know how long we were going to be playing this year."

Kansas football grades: Reviewing the Jayhawks' loss to OSU
I'm not sure there's much to say this week that I didn't last week. We don't grade this position on a curve, so whether it was a true-freshman struggling to move the ball — Kansas went three-and-out three times to start the game — or Miles Kendrick experiencing much of the same until the game was out of reach, this was a very tough contest for the Kansas quarterbacks.

How Oasis’ ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ Changed the Course of Music History
(What’s The Story) Morning Glory? celebrates its 25th anniversary this week. It was a career-defining moment for Oasis, a band that had burst onto the British music scene in a big way barely a year earlier with the massive success of its debut album Definitely Maybe, and a string of chart-topping singles. But (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?—which contained the hit songs “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger” and “Champagne Supernova,” in case you’d forgotten—showcased Gallagher as a songwriter of the first order, and his younger brother, Liam, as a singer and frontman of undeniable gifts.
