Well, that was pretty good. No “Hilton Magic” this time, and I’m going to just say that these ratings are probably pretty inflated because the Cyclones were so bad. Anyway, on to the ratings.
5 Stars: Hilton Coliseum
Man, that place was quiet. I could’ve meditated in there.
Devon Dotson. He was great in this one. Had 20 points, six assists, and five rebounds.
4.5 Stars: The Library
The ultimate quiet place.
Ochai Agbaji. Nailed four of five from long range and finished with 16 points on the night. A good bounce back game for Ochai.
David McCormack gets a high rating simply because of that dunk late in the second half. Finished with 16 points and seven boards.
4 Stars: Space
Yep, it’s a giant vacuum and there’s nothing there.
Christian Braun. He gets a high rating simply because of that bow and arrow gesture after he canned a first half three. Finished with nine points.
3.5 Stars: The middle of nowhere
It doesn’t even really matter where. A forest? A field? A meadow? The Mountains? All quiet and serene.
Udoka Azubiuike had ten points and seven rebounds.
Marcus Garrett. Turned that ankle and still came back and guarded Tyrese Haliburton.
3 Stars: A sound booth
On one hand, they are sound proofed. On the other, they are designed to have the sounds that are created inside them be as pure as possible.
Silvio de Sousa had two of everything- blocks, points, rebounds, turnovers, and fouls. Consistency gets him three stars because I’m feeling generous.
2 Stars: A Cave
Probably pretty dang quiet…unless there are tons of bats in there or a grizzly bear hiding in the corner. In that case, it’s one of the loudest places I could be because all you would hear is screaming.
Tristan Enaruna and Isaiah Moss need to get going.
1 Star: The Silent Treatment
No one likes it when you get the silent treatment from someone. And no one was as bad as that.
Chris Teahan and Mike Jankovich
