It's time for the latest edition of the SB Nation FanPulse Survey. It's still possible to sign up and let your voice be heard.
Even though football is over, now that the national championship has occurred, there is one final college football poll.
But the first part of the survey is the approval ratings for both Kansas Football and Kansas Basketball.
We somehow missed a week, but the final approval rating for Kansas Football was . We didn’t have enough responses, so there is no graphic for this.
Similarly, the approval rating for Kansas Basketball has been falling the last couple of weeks. Last week it was 86%, and this week it was 78%. Again, no graphic for these.
Disagree with that assessment of the program? Then sign up for the survey, and you can join in determining that percentage for next week.
The second part of the survey is the question of the week. Last week, we were asked who the favorite should be for next year’s CFB national champion. I’m not sure how many of you actually care about this, but here is the graphic regardless:
This week, the question which conference is the best in college basketball.
Finally, the final CFB poll of the year is here. As expected, LSU got the number 1 spot, but the rest of the poll had a couple of surprises that probably shouldn’t be a surprise.
First, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the SEC is getting extra credit in the rankings, as ridiculous as it is. Specifically, Oregon has a lot to complain about.
Second, I’m pleasantly surprised that teams like App State and UAB are getting some extra credit here. Maybe it isn’t warranted, but I’d rather err on the side of the little guy.
Finally, I’m surprised that Utah, a team that flamed out terribly in both of their last two games, managed to keep a top 15 ranking.
But ultimately, I’m just glad that this is done and we don’t have to worry about it any more this year.
The basketball ratings will be updated every week, and it isn't too late to be a part of them. Sign up here! It’s the same sign up for everything, and it literally takes 2 minutes (or less) to fill out each week.
