Film room: A look at West Virginia's touchdowns vs. KU football
In KU’s loss to West Virginia, the Mountaineers went to its ground game frequently. West Virginia held a one-score advantage for the majority of the contest and ran the ball a season-high 48 times, producing 192 yards. The Mountaineers' ground game also produced all three of the team's touchdowns on Saturday.
Les Miles has big praise for Andrew Parchment after Big 12 honor
Les Miles had a comparison or two for Andrew Parchment before he came to KU. He brought up some of the greats he'd coached at LSU — namely Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry — and Parchment decided he had heard enough. He chose to make the jump to KU football from the JUCO level.
Kansas knocks off Bears – Kansas Jayhawks
It was a tightly contested matchup throughout the contest as both teams were unable to gain a large advantage. After going up 1-0 in the sixth inning, thanks to freshman Ashlyn Anderson who hit a single to score the lone run of the contest, the Bears were looking to even it up at the top of the seventh. With a runner on second, the ball was hit to deep center field where sophomore Macy Omli was able to recover the ball and fire it to freshman Jordan Richards at the plate to beat the runner and keep the 1-0 lead.
What the latest NCAA allegations mean for Bill Self, Kansas
On the player side, there don't seem to be urgent ramifications. The only player on the current roster with a connection to the investigations is Silvio De Sousa, whose guardian received $2,500 from former Adidas consultant T.J. Gassnola and allegedly agreed to a deal for another $20,000, according to Gassnola's court testimony. De Sousa sat out all of last season in NCAA limbo -- before the NCAA ruled in February that he was ineligible for the rest of the season and all of the upcoming season. However, De Sousa won his appeal in May and is eligible to play this season.
Analysis: Understanding what matters and what doesn't in the NCAA's case against KU | KUsports.com
In their response, it seems like KU officials understand what this case hinges on, but the sports radio and online chatter make it clear that many fans and some pundits don’t. KU fans have been building defenses for KU that probably won't matter much in the end. The case hinges on whether Adidas employees — people like T.J. Gassnola, James Gatto and Merl Code, all convicted of federal fraud charges — are categorized as boosters of the university.
Steven Sims Jr., making immediate impact with Washington Redskins
Steven Sims Jr., more than left his mark on the Kansas football program and early in his professional career with the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL), Sims is doing more of the same.

Brexit: Britain has a brilliant method of naming Supreme Court justices - Vox
The British system of choosing supreme court justices is, well, complicated. In short, it relies on a selection commission, convened when a vacancy arises and typically chaired by the Supreme Court’s president. Such vacancies occur more often than in the United States, moreover, because the Court has 12 seats and justices must retire when they reach a certain age — which can be either 70 or 75 depending on when they joined the bench.
