Katie McClure notches lone goal in KU's 1-0 win over FAU |
“All I remember is (Cavalcante) passing it in out wide,” McClure said. “But there was a lot of good movement by all of us, a lot of one-two touch playing around the defense and getting it out wide to Izzy, which is our strength.”

WATCH: KU football coach Les Miles explains 'New York' tradition
"Okay, here's the issue of 'New York, New York,'" Miles began. "I went there several years ago with my family, and I would stop and get an orange juice at a deli, right? It's the best orange juice I've ever had, OK? Went over to another place, got a sandwich, best sandwich I ever had. So basically for me it told me that if you're going to have success in a place like New York, you'd better raise your game and compete. And so I've kind of enjoyed that song because of kind of what's unsaid."

'I'm a Patriot' -- Pats change mind on undrafted WR
"It was a roller coaster. That's the best way to describe it," Olszewski said Sunday after his first practice as a member of the defending Super Bowl champions. "For one second you think, 'I don't know what's going on.' The next second, 'I'm a Patriot.' At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter how it happened. What happened is I'm a Patriot now. I'm just proud to be here, and proud to go to work."

Astros' Verlander tosses third career no-hitter

Hurts totals 6 TDs in record-setting Sooners debut
Hurts was nearly flawless on Sunday. He was accurate (20-of-23 passing). He threw it short, long, from the pocket and outside of it. He ran with relative ease, and while donning the same No. 1 jersey his predecessor wore. For a few moments, he could've fooled the 84,534 present that they were watching Kyler Murray -- who happened to be in attendance himself.

USC QB Daniels (ACL, meniscus) out for season

10 lists of 10 - Matthew Berry fantasy football breakouts, sleepers and favorite team names
According to a study done by Microsoft, the average person's attention span these days is just eight seconds. I'm not sure when the study was done or any other details about it beyond that -- it was just the first thing that popped up when I Googled "average person's attention span" and after I found that headline I got bored and clicked away. It had been eight seconds.
