In the 83-77 NCAA Tournament overtime loss to Tennessee, he scored 16 points and pulled down five rebounds. His name popped up in the transfer portal on May 2 after he started all 35 games for Iowa last season (23-12). He was the second graduate transfer new Razorback head coach Eric Musselman had landed at that point, joining UNC-Wilmington transfer forward Jeantal Cylla. The Hogs have since added SMU graduate transfer Jimmy Whitt.

Kansas boasts award candidates at three positions
Apparently at center, where Udoka Azubuike returned somewhat surprisingly to patrol the pain for the Jayhawks, one can remove the “among the” part of the previous sentence.
