Welcome to June: Previewing the month of KU basketball, football
June has finally arrived. While the month is typically a quieter one across college campuses, there is plenty up in the air for the KU basketball team that will be settled by the end of the next 30 days. It should also be a busy month for the football Jayhawks in recruiting.

If Dotson had decided to go ahead and keep his name in this year’s NBA Draft, maybe Quentin Grimes would have tried to return to KU and play some point guard instead of entering his name in the transfer portal. The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is slated to tip off in July. It is a basketball event that features teams vying for the chance at a $2 million prize. The games are shown on ESPN. Many of the teams feature an affiliation to a college or region. K-State and Wichita State, for instance, have had alumni teams at the event.
