Lawson and the Jayhawks concluded their 2018-19 season with a Round-of-32 loss to Auburn. Lawson posted two 20-point, 10-rebound double-doubles in the NCAA tournament, and he finished with 22 double-doubles on the season, setting a new career-high mark.
