Green Bay Packers select TE Jace Sternberger in NFL Draft
Sternberger started his college career at Kansas in 2015. He did not see any action until the 2016 season and he posted one reception for five yards in two games. Sternberger then transferred to Texas A&M in 2017 but had to sit out for one year. In 2018, Sternberger emerged as one of the best tight ends in the country, recording 48 receptions for 832 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Report: K.J. Lawson moving closer to picking next destination
K.J. Lawson, whose name appeared in the transfer portal in early April, 247Sports first reported, will reportedly take two visits in the next week, according to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein. Lawson, Rothstein said on Twitter, "plans to visit both Boston College and Georgia State," according to Keelon Lawson, who is K.J.'s father.

After the weather in West Virginia delayed the start of the Big 12 Championship, Kansas men's golf took to The Greenbrier Golf Course for the first two rounds on Saturday. After 36 holes of action, the No. 29 Jayhawks sit in 10th place overall with a 577 (+17) total score.

KU softball falls to No. 11 Texas |
Despite the result, the Jayhawks were treated to an Arrocha Ballpark record crowd of 2,478, which included standing-room only capacity. The previous record attendance also came against Texas on April 28, 2017, when a then-record crowd of 1,492 filled Arrocha Ballpark.

In a somewhat surprising move, Daniel Wise, KU football's star defensive lineman from last season, was not selected in the 2019 NFL Draft. However, he wasted little time in finding a landing spot, one that will see him reunite with a former teammate.

Shortly after the draft concluded, the KU football Twitter account announced that Steven Sims and Joe Dineen had signed deals as undrafted free agents. Dineen, KU announced, is heading to the Denver Broncos. Sims, KU revealed, is heading to the Washington Redskins.
