FLJHawk's Snake Infested Bracket Challenge (2019 Edition)

Here we are again, although this time I have no illusions of me travelling to see the Final four this year, so maybe this time I'll pay attention through the end. It helps that I really don't expect a bunch of heartache if we lose, so I should even stay interested while cheering against Duke. This is the annual continuation of Warden's Bracket Challenge. This contest offers nothing in the way of traditional prizes but it does make up for it slightly in that you get bragging rights as the champion of a contest far more rarely played than the traditional bracket contest.

The Rules:

1: Pick 10 Teams

Teams can be picked from anywhere in the bracket and will be scored based on (wins x seed) in a cumulative fashion. As an example:

Kansas is a 4 seed. They win round one you get 1 x 4 = 4 points. They win round 2 you get (2 x 4) plus your 4 first round points = 12 points. 3rd round would be (3*4) + 12 = 24 points.

So, you can see the low seeds get to be worth a lot quick. The high ones... not so fast.

2: Tie Breaker

So, for a tie breaker, I will be going with the player who has the highest scoring individual team. I will continue all the way down the roster comparing the second highest scoring team with the other second highest and so forth. If that doesn't settle it, the guessers who are tied will need to go out and shoot 10 free throws themselves on a real basketball court while documented on facebook live. Highest percentage wins.

3: Enter picks in comments below

Deadline is the tip-off of games on Thursday. Changes are allowed until then. If you want a play-in game winner you need to specify which team exactly to reserve that team. Should you choose the losing team you will be allowed to change that to any other team prior to tip-off on Thursday. If you chose the losing team and don't switch to someone else I will automatically switch to the other team unless that makes your bracket identical to someone else. Following the Identical rule, you will get Iona instead.

If your picks are identical to someone else. The first person to have put in their picks gets it. If you don't change it before the start of play, I will change your lowest seeded team to another lower seeded team that will make you unique. Good luck with Iona. (Don't force me to do this to you.)

Also, as a message to Warlord or anyone else, feel free to post anything about this that you want. I'm going to simply keep score and anything added only makes it better in my opinion. Hijack away, I will not be offended if you do my job better than me (which you probably will). Also, if you want to take this over from the get-go, just let me know and have at it.
