Join us in discussing the field, the brackets, and all the wonderfulness that is March Madness.

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Charlotte Practice Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas Jayhawks have appeared in 47 total NCAA Tournaments, including 29 in a row (about to be 30). In fact, the last time KU did not go dancing, “Lost in Your Eyes” by Debbie Gibson was the #1 song and “Lean on Me” was the #1 movie in theaters.

Those dark, dark days are better known as March of 1989.

Anyway, Kansas has seen 15 Finals Fours and won three championships while compiling an overall 107-46 record. In his career, Bill Self is 46-18 in the Tournament, 36-13 while at Kansas.

Selection Sunday

When: 5:00 PM Central Time

TV: CBS

FREE Online Stream: www.NCAA.com/march-madness-live/watch

The show is going back to its more traditional format of revealing the bracket region-by-region.

Kansas Bracketology

For Kansas-specific Bracketology (as of 9 AM Sunday morning), check out our post here. TLDR, KU is looking at a 4-seed with the possibility of moving up to the 3-line depending on how the committee compares Kansas vs Texas Tech.

Discussion

Use this thread to talk about the draw, the regional, and the tournament as a whole. Once the brackets are out, consider the following questions:

How far will the Jayhawks advance? What do you like about our draw? What do you hate about our draw?

How many Sweet 16 teams will the Big 12 get?

How many #1 seeds will make the Final Four?

Who is over-seeded?

Who is under-seeded?

What’s your first-round upset special? Too bad Norfolk State, La Salle, and UAB aren’t likely to be selected.

Who’s your Cinderella?
