Kansas comes into this matchup at 20-7. Last time out, the Jayhawks no-showed in Lubbock in a 91-62 massacre at the hands of Texas Tech.
K-State enters the contest at 21-6. The ‘Cats are coming off a 39-point demolition of Oklahoma State in Manhattan, an 85-46 affair. KSU has won six of seven, and 11 of their last 13.
Kansas leads the all-time series with K-State 196-94, which includes an 89-35 record in Lawrence and a 48-18 mark in Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas has 12-straight matchups with K-State in the old barn, however, the last two matchups went the right way by just a combined three points.
K-State looks to become just the second school to sweep a home-and-home series against KU under Bill Self. KSU has not won back-to-back games against KU since 1993-94.
With 196 wins over K-State, Kansas has the most all-time victories over a single opponent in NCAA D1 history. Second is Washington over Oregon at 190.
