Kansas meets up with Dayton in the championship game of the Maui Invitational.

Kansas is the #4 team in the country in the AP Poll, while Dayton comes in unranked. KenPom currently has KU at #8 and Dayton at #23. The Flyers were picked to finish third in their conference (behind VCU and Davidson) the A-10 preseason media poll, but did pick up one first-place vote.

Kansas and Dayton have met just twice previously, with each team taking a win. The most recent matchup was a 60-43 Kansas win in Minneapolis in the second round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament. Dayton defeated Kansas in the 1968 NIT Championship game.
