Bradford was the linebackers coach on Gundy's first staff when he took over as head coach. Bradford later left with Gundy's offensive coordinator, Larry Fedora, when he took the head coaching job at Southern Miss. Fedora took Bradford as his defensive coordinator.

KU football commit Tommy Brandt 'parting ways' with Jayhawks
Tommy Brandt, a three-star offensive tackle out of St. Paul, Minnesota, announced that he was "parting ways" with the Jayhawks on Monday. Brandt was the No. 169-ranked offensive tackle in the class of 2020 and the No. 13-ranked Minnesota prospect, per the 247Sports Composite. The Top247 had Brandt at No. 196 for his position and No. 18 for Minnesota prospects. He is listed at 6-4 and 275 pounds out of St. Thomas Academy.
