FanPulse Top 25 Week 6: Only The Top Matters Anyway

It looks like people only paid attention to the top 15 in this week’s poll.

It's that time again. Time for the latest edition of the SB Nation CFB Top 25. It's still possible to sign up and let your voice be heard.

The first part of the FanPulse survey was the approval rating for the Kansas Jayhawks. despite the loss to Oklahoma, we saw a big spike in the approval rating. It came back up to 91%. Plus, participation rose far enough that we got our graphic back!

Disagree with that assessment of the program? Then sign up for the survey, and you can join in determining that percentage for next week.

With last week’s question getting the real answer before the results came out, they switched it up. Instead we are looking at the biggest matchups for the week, and which one everyone is looking forward to the most. If our poll is any indication, College Gameday got it wrong. They should be heading to the Red River Rivalry this weekend instead of LSU.A new part of the survey this week was a question about which college program was going to fire their coach first. The poll got it wrong, as Rutgers already fired their coach, but the graphic for that question is below.

And now, without further ado, here are the rankings after Week 5.

Other teams receiving votes: Baylor, Memphis, Minnesota, Michigan State, Cincinnati

I’m just going to ignore the bottom of the poll, since it’s pretty clear that either people didn’t pay attention to results, or just missed them completely. I mean, Oklahoma State over Baylor? UCF still in the poll? Washington barely dropping? We’ve talked with SB Nation about the methodology and set up for the poll, and hopefully next week makes a bit more sense.

As a reminder, once we reach 50 sign ups, we’ll get our own version of the Top 25.

Until we have enough people signed up to get our own poll, I'll look for one other fanbase to highlight. I'm a bit partial to fans that are fairly reasonable, so I went in search of a fanbase that ranked their own team lower than the national ranking. I guess Washington counts, but given how late that game was, I’m thinking that they probably should have dropped a lot more than they did.

So I guess, congrats on not being total homers?

These rankings will be updated every week, and it isn't too late to be a part of them. Sign up here!
