How to Watch: Late Night in the Phog 2018

The first exhibition game is still 27 days away, but Kansas basketball gets it going tonight in Lawrence.

The 34th annual Late Night in the Phog begins tonight at 6:30 PM and typically runs about three hours.

However, the festivities around Allen Fieldhouse begin at 11 AM with Phog Fest on the front lawn of AFH. There’s a kids area, live music, radio remotes, food trucks, and general revelry had by all. You can click here for more detailed information.

As always, admission is free and it is a first-come, first-served, ticketless event. The doors will be closed if the arena reaches capacity; if that were to happen, the overflow crowd is encouraged to head to nearby Hoglund Ballpark, just south of AFH, where Late Night will be broadcast on the video board.

Late Night is also a HUGE recruiting event for Bill Self and the Jayhawks, and Matt Tait has a list of the recruits we know are going to be in attendance (you’ll have to scroll down a bit).

It should be a fun night in Allen Fieldhouse tonight. If you can’t be there, hopefully you can tune in!

How to Watch

The festivities are being broadcast on the Jayhawk TV Network, including online streaming on ESPN+. I am guessing that Brian Hanni and Greg Gurley are your hosts for the broadcast.
