The Jayhawks are one of 13 teams competing in the Big 5 Challenge. Kansas will see some familiar opponents as three other Big 12 schools will be represented in Kansas State, TCU and Texas Tech. The nonconference teams competing include Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Georgia, Missouri, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

After a season-opening loss at home to an FCS program in Nicholls State, things were looking very dire for the Kansas Jayhawks and head coach David Beaty. But the Jayhawks have since ripped off a pair of blowout wins over Central Michigan and Rutgers and they’re now riding a two-game win streak into Saturday’s Big 12 opener against Baylor (2:30 p.m. CT, FS1).
