The 10 players may be chosen from either side of the ball, or from either team, but for the most part they'll be KU players who made a mark on the game one way or another.

Joe Dineen, a redshirt-senior and the nation's leader in tackles per game one season ago, was picked as the conference's defensive player of the week. Pooka Williams, a true-freshman, earned conference newcomer of the week honors.
Here's how KU freshman Anthony Williams got the nickname 'Pooka'
Anthony Williams Jr., as was his name from birth, picked up the nickname Pooka in his childhood (more on that in a second). Upon breaking out in his first game with KU — Williams rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Central Michigan — the four-star freshman out of Louisiana received a new nickname from former KU football player and current program color commentator David Lawrence.

Marshawn Lynch in high school might as well be a photo from an alternate universe where reality folded back on itself and gave us a timeline where Lynch went from being the president of the A/V club before parlaying it into a job managing a Radio Shack.
When Devin Booker hurt his fifth finger, did he pinky swear? - SBNation.com
The Suns announced Devin Booker had surgery on a knuckle joint on the pinky of his right hand and will miss about six weeks, putting him back in action right around opening night or a few days after. It’s an inauspicious start to the 2018-19 season for the Suns, and a worrisome bit of news given the Suns committed $158 million to Booker at the beginning of the summer. (Booker is still the only 2016 first-round pick with an extension.)
Watch: Marshawn Lynch dragged damn near every Rams defender for this touchdown - SBNation.com
The Rams almost stopped Marshawn at the three-yard line early in the first quarter. But that’s when his offensive line joined in and gave the veteran running back a colossal shove to the end zone. Every Rams player joined the pile, but Lynch stuck his arms just enough to get the touchdown. It’s art.
How Lions’ Monday night game vs. Jets into a nightmare in 3 minutes - SBNation.com
Although the game was large uninteresting and one-sided, there was a wild three-minute sequence where the Jets scored three touchdowns after the Lions tied the game at 17. The Jets scored on offense, defense, and special teams to quickly pull away and turn the game into a laugher.

Pluto is most definitely a planet — and should never have been downgraded, say some scientists | WHNT.com
The research, published in the scientific journal Icarus, says Pluto never should have been downgraded from a planet to a dwarf planet 12 years ago. Why? Because, the authors say, the rationale behind the decision wasn’t valid.
