KU baseball SP Jackson Goddard was selected in the third round of the MLB Draft, #99 overall, by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is the third highest draft pick in KU baseball history.

Dedric Lawson looks like he could be a Big 12 POY candidate next season, but don’t let that distract you from the fact that Mitch Lightfoot hit six three-pointers en route to 22 points in KU’s last scrimmage.

Lawson says the Jayhawks will have the best frontcourt in the nation next season.

Kansas checks in at #1 (again) in CBSSports’ Top 25-and-1; the Jayhawks also claim the #1 overall seed in Jerry Palm’s first 2019 NCAA Bracket.

247Sports takes a look at how future Jayhawk Quentin Grimes performed at Team USA camp, as well as recruiting targets Matthew Hurt, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Jaden McDaniels, and Kira Lewis.

VMI transfer LB Brian Lipscomb made his way to KU after talking with his cousin, Brandon McAnderson.

In other news...

Bill C’s K-State preview is out; he projects the kittens for a 5-7 record in 2018.

For the first time in 10 years, there are zero five-star QBs in the 2019 recruiting class.

An internet argument that will last forever (akin to should Tyshawn have dunked), the Seattle Seahawks made the correct call in throwing the ball in Super Bowl 49.

Sports books in Delaware are now taking bets.
