Kansas (24-7, 13-5) is currently ranked #9 in the AP Poll.
Oklahoma State (19-13, 8-10) comes in unranked.
The Cowboys are coached by Mike Boynton Jr, who is in his first year as a head coach but is now definitely a better coach than Shaka Smart.
Oklahoma State thoroughly dominated Kansas in both regular season matchups this year, winning a not-as-close-as-it-seems game in Lawrence by an 84-79 score, and blasting KU 82-64 in Stillwater less than a week ago.
The Jayhawks still lead the all-time series against the Cowboys, 113-59.
For a “tournament that doesn’t matter,” Kansas is 41-11 all-time in the Big 12 Tournament, winning it 10 out of 21 tries, with by far the best winning percentage (.788) than any other school in this event (OU is next-best at 22-18, .550).
Bill Self is 27-7 at Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament, and KU is 19-4 in conference tournament games played at Sprint Center.
