So today is the traditional national signing day. Most of KU’s class signed back in December. If you want to check out some highlights, you can check out Benton Smith (KUSports) update here. We are also “covering” it here, but mostly I just complain about all of the juco recruits.

The highest rated football recruit (in the history of recruiting rankings) at Kansas, Corione Harris, graduated high school early and is already enrolled and on campus at KU. He is excited to join former high school teammate Mike Lee in KU’s secondary.

Beaty is one of the more outspoken proponents of the early signing period.

Dorance Armstrong got an invite to the NFL Combine.

Hey so it’s still basketball season, and KU had a home game last night, and THEY WON AT HOME YOU GUYS.

There was a big moment late in the game for Udoka Azubuike that drew praise from head coach Bill Self.

Mac Engel at the Dallas-Fort Worth Star-Telegram says TCU plays entertaining games, but the results are always the same. Fair warning, Jayhawk fans - Engel really panders to his readers here.

In other news...

Some schools’ Twitter accounts got suspended on national signing day, including Missouri and Texas.

It’s that time of the year when you see articles like, so-and-so is a Final Four threat. Some of them make sense, say, Purdue. Others, not so much, say, Tennessee.

The Indianapolis Colts can’t find anyone to coach their team next year. Will they turn back to Baylor’s Matt Rhule?

Look, I know refereeing is difficult, but calling a foul on a guy nowhere near the ballhandler when he slips and falls on his own accord is not a good look, especially at the pro level.

Remember that time when Lebron and the Cavs blew a 21-point lead?
