Iowa State (13-11, 4-8) comes in unranked.

The Hawkeyes are coached by Steve Prohm, who is 60-34 in his third year in Ames. Prohm is 164-63 as a head coach in seven seasons overall.

KU won the first matchup with Iowa State in Lawrence back on January 9, 83-78. The Jayhawks lead the all-time series against ISU, 180-64, but have only taken four of the last seven meetings. The Jayhawks are 25-21 in Hilton Coliseum.
