Notebook: Jayhawks know they have to “regroup”

The mid-February “Bracket Reveal” is stupid and I’m not going to link any of those clickbait articles, just FYI. Also, I really, really want to run a caption contest for the photo above.

Jesse Newell says that the season story for the Jayhawks is not set in stone so long as they can “find themselves” from this point forward.

A Baylor player in the postgame presser said they knew it was important to have a big lead at the end of the game or else KU would have started to get all the calls. To me, this means that the K-State mentality against KU has permeated the rest of the league to the point that coaches are telling their players this.
