Kansas at Texas Tech Open Game Thread

Kansas hits the road for what nobody thinks (once again) is a winnable game against the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. The Jayhawks have dropped 42 consecutive conference road games dating back to October of 2008.

Kansas is coming off a 38-22 road loss at West Virginia, while Texas Tech snuck past TCU by a 17-14 score in Metroplex.

Texas Tech leads the all-time series vs Kansas 18-1. Yup, you read that correctly.

Tech won the most recent meeting 65-19 in 2017 in Lawrence and has defeated the Jayhawks 11 consecutive times. KU’s only win over Tech was a 34-31 double-overtime thriller back in 2001 in Lubbock.
